Managing Contacts

Double click on a contact to bring up the Contact card widow. In the Instant Messengers section on the right hand side, click Add... to add the IM account(s) associated with this contact.

 

Select Instant Messaging -> Contact Import in the main menu to bring up the IM Contact Import window. After you have selected the IM account from which you wish to import your contacts from, all the contacts contained in this IM account will be displayed in the center window.

To pair a particular IM contact with a contact card, select that contact, click on the Action column of that contact to bring out a drop down list.

In this Action list you can choose to create a new contact card for this particular contact by selecting Create as New, or you may choose to pair this contact with an existing contact card by selecting Pair with in the drop down list.

 

Click on the Pair with column of that contact to open a list of all your contact cards, select contact card to which you wish to associate this particular IM account to.

 

Click Import when you have finished pairing all the necessary contacts to finish the importing process.
